I went to Walmart last night and bought patterns to make aprons and pj bottoms. I bought some flannel to make the pj bottoms. I have plenty of fabric to make some aprons. I hope I have some time this week to start on them. I have a lot of packing and cleaning to do for this coming weekend. We will be gone over night to my brothers wedding. I have to make the chocolate mints. I would at least like to get one apron made. I also need to finish up the quilt I am making for my oldest daughter. Dd2 has been picking out the fabric she wants me to make a quilt for her. Now just to find the time. I thought about getting the patterns cut out and pressing them. Pinning them to the fabric but I just didn`t feel like it. I have had a cold all week and just don`t feel like doing anything. I should have because dh has had espn on watching pro bass tournments. I can only take so much of them. Yes, he is getting bass fever. He always does this time of the year.
I ordered some stock pots tonight from sportsman guide. Great site. They have a 12 qt dutch oven I want to order but I will have to wait a little longer. I also order some strawberry plants, herbs and pepper(hot) seeds from Gurneys. On the strawberry plants, order 25 and get 25 free. They are everbearing. For the pepper seeds, I ordered, Caribbean Red, Super Cayenne 3, and Tabasco. I will be updating my garden plans and what we will be planting later. We are still working on everything. We sat down tonight and did some planning. I order coriander/cilantro seed pkt. I have never grown this and I hope I can. It will be a learning experience. I want to have fresh for my salsa. Well guess that is it for now.
I get excited when I buy new patterns and fabrics. I love to sew and sewing something for my family makes my hobby worth while.
I hope you strawberry plants do well:)
We put out strawberrys two years ago and they have not done very well. Last year was a bad year for strawberries here in our state. We did get some from a strawberry farm to make preserves and put some in the freezer for strawberry short cakes.

Spring is in the air !! I can't wait to have all those fresh veggies again. So much healthier for our families .. I Have been working on a Memory Quilt for my son . I collected T-shirt from his life growing up , events, camps, clubs or gift shirt from other states , his favorite shirts, since he was 3 years til now he's 13 yrs old. It's really turning out better that I had thought . He is so excited about it !! He said it's starting to look like a Real Quilt , he was so sweet !!! Shaune
