One of my favorite things to eat for breakfast is chocolate gravy and biscuits. My mamaw would make this not only for breakfast but also dinner when I was growing up. I like to make it for my family too. They love when I make it for them. It is funny because when my papaw wants its he calls on me to fix it for him. My aunts or mom can not fix it. Well at least that is what they say. For the longest time I was the only one who could make chicken livers and onions for him.
I love chocolate gravy and biscuits! My mom made this for us growing up (and still will on request!) Her mom made it for her, and while I can make it, it just doesn't taste as good as Mama's. I guess my kids are third generation chocolate gravy and biscuit eaters!
I have never heard of chocolate gravy. I'm a kentuckian so I know its not a Ky thing. Hmm...anything with chocolate sounds good.

I am not sure but I think it is a southern thing. Now I could be wrong. My grandma made it and her mom. You can google it and find the recipe. It is really good. I made some tonight. Yummy!!!!!!!

You make it out of cocoa, flour, sugar and milk. It is really good.
