I woke up about 5:15 this morning and was having a hard time getting out of bed. I kept trying to get Sam up because he wanted to go into work early this morning. I guess he was having a hard time of getting up. Anyway, about 6:00 my oldest daughter came into the room yelling, " mom, mom have you looked outside yet" nope I am still in bed. "Well there is 2 inches of snow on the ground and it is still snowing." I told her she had better go down and turn the news on to see if she had school. Of course, I knew they would not have school. They close schools around here if it is just a dusting. So here I am still trying to stay in bed where it is good and warm. She comes back in wanting to know if I had ever looked outside yet. I told her no, I am trying to sleep. Anyway, by that time I was good and awake. I just got up and came downstairs. I say we do have two inches and it is still snowing. We are suppose to get a wintery mix later today.
I am a stay-at-home, Christian homeschooling mom. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. We have been blessed with three kids,ages 18, 10 and 8. We live on a family farm and have several animals. I`m just a simple farm gal, who loves her God, family, friends and life.
