I have been busy all day. I do feel like I am getting somethings done. My day so far.
sewed on some aprons
feed calves, goats, chickens and dogs
cleaned off gun safe( it is the catch all)
finished up some painting
finished up the border in my kitchen
done 4 loads of laundry
homeschooled
cooked breakfast for my grandfather and cleaned up his kitchen
cooked breakfast for the kids
put out some more Christmas decorations
done some dusting
load of dishes
cleaned out one of the kitchen cabinets and put some old drinking glasses away.
cleaned of the top of the refrigerator. (it was awful)
I still have to take a bath and get ready to go to dh`s bass clubs christmas dinner. I am really excited about that.
Cook dinner for the kids, which will be something quick and easy.
I still have two ceiling fans I want to clean today and run the vacumm in the living room.
I am going to have the girls work on their room tonight. I am trying to get as much deep cleaning done before Christmas. I want it to be nice and clean for all my guest. From this time until after the super bowl will be having a lot of company coming in and out. We also get really busy.
Now you would think with everything I was able to get done I would be really happy. I am just really sad for my neighbors. It just breaks my heart knowing that they are going though the lose of the son and grandson. What happen he lost control of his truck, hit a tree and was ejected out. He landed in the creek. He died on impact. DD1 said everyone at school was really upset. He was liked by everyone. His funeral is tomorrow morning and the students will be allow to miss school for it. DD1 is planning on going tonight to the visitation.
You really don`t know what worry is until you become a parent. I worry all the time when dd2 is out driving. She can`t understand why I want her home at certain times. Please pray for the family they are taking it really hard.
So true about the worrying. I do hope that this tragedy will open the hearts of many so they may reach out to the family during this time of the year.
One thing I can say about my community they will be there from them. I come from a community where everyone knows everyone and always willing to help. sheryl

I can't imagine..... what it would be like to lose a child in that manner.. I will continue to pray for this family......... so hard to walk thru, especialy at this time of year....... are they Christians - do they have faith to hold onto? I don't know how folks do it with God in their lives..... life can simply be so hard!
I am a stay-at-home, Christian homeschooling mom. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. We have been blessed with three kids, ages 18, 10 and 8. We live on a family farm and have several animals. I`m just a simple farm gal, who loves her God, family, friends and life.
