I just got off of my space account. I have a few of my teenage daughters friends on my friends list. I see plenty of stuff on there that teenage kids are doing but I saw something today that just blows my mind. Do young girl have any respect for themselves these days? I have seen pics of girls so drunk they are falling on the ground. Teenage girls and their babies. Teenage girls doing certain things that I can`t even say on here. I was in total shock when I viewed this one girls pics on her page today. Now this is the same girl who says I can`t stay all night on Saturdays because I have Sunday school. The more I know about how teenagers are becoming the more reason I have to homeschool. What do parents teach their kids? My daughter tells me that a lot of her friends parents just don`t care. I think that is sad. I wasn`t perfect as a teenager but my friends and I would have never done any of the things I see in pics today. I know I am just rambling on about this and probably not making any sense. Please pray for our youth. sheryl
It is really sad. I'm glad that you aren't judging them like a lot of people do. You are right....prayer is the answer. They really need to know the love of Christ. It is a scary thing for me because we do homeschool, but we have talked about sending them to public school once they reach high school. I'm not sure that it is the right decision. We have a while to decide though.....our oldest is in 3rd! :)
It breaks my heart to have people judge these teens when they haven't ever been taught to respect themselves or their bodies. For acceptance that they apparently aren't getting anywhere else, they are looking in any place that they can find. It almost makes me weep. So much destiny being wasted...:(
yes visiting myspace will definitely give you a heart to pray, and cry, and pray some more, it is kind of a behind the scenes look into the culture of today, very very sad, the church is missing something
I am a stay-at-home, Christian homeschooling mom. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. We have been blessed with three kids, ages 18, 10 and 8. We live on a family farm and have several animals. I`m just a simple farm gal, who loves her God, family, friends and life.
