• Monday, August 27, 2007 - My fall cleaning list outside
This is what needs to be done this fall on the farm. Actually, I guess it is more my hubby`s list than mine but I do help him. Here it goes.
Pressure wash siding. We will wait until Oct. to do this. We live on a dirty road and the siding will just get dusty again if we do it to soon.
Clean windows on the outside.
Cut firewood and stack.
Trim apple trees and some other trees
Prepare chicken coop and barn for winter.
build more nesting boxes for the chicken coop
close pool down for the winter
clean up garden and flower beds. We already started on this one. Dh bush hogged the garden last night and I started on the flower beds.
Take down summer decorations and put up fall. I love decorating for fall. I won`t do this for a couple more weeks tho.
clean out garage
bush hog fields and use the side bar to cut along creeks.
cut hay and bale
rake leaves
After the guy I gave our old mobile home to comes and gets it, we will have to clean up where it was. Hopefully, he will be moving it soon.
We also have to paint door that goes out to the upstairs deck.
I am sure there are odds and ends that needs to be done.
There is another chore that needs to be done, but I am not doing it by myself. My mom, aunt and uncle can help with it and that is cleaning out my grandfathers attic. But I am sure that won`t happen this year. It needs to be done. I guess that is it for now.
I am a stay-at-home, Christian homeschooling mom. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. We have been blessed with three kids, ages 18, 10 and 8. We live on a family farm and have several animals. I`m just a simple farm gal, who loves her God, family, friends and life.
