• Saturday, August 18, 2007 - We had a wonderful day friday
Friday we spent the day with some families from our homeschooling group. We went to Greenbo State Park. The kids spent the day playing putt putt, paddle boating and swimming. It was really nice. The moms and I discussed about starting a homemaking type club for the girls in the hs group. I told them I would be willing to teach homemaking skills. I would love to teach cooking, hand quilting, sewing, etc.. I hope there is enough interest in the class. I would even be willing to teach a farming class for the little boys in the group. This year in the group, I will be helping with unit studies. I hope I can do a good job with that.
Yesterday, I sold another one of my goats. I am down to two goats. I will probably stay at the number for a while. I am afraid that if my shoulder and neck trouble doesn`t get better, I am going down size on my animals. One of our cows had a heifer last week. My chickens are growing and doing well. I have had a total of three losses so far. Well I need to go for now. sheryl
I think a homemaking class for a hs group would be neat.
I have been to Greenbo Park. I went when I was in middle school. It was really neat!
