• Saturday, December 2, 2006 - little bit about the day
Well, it is not as windy today, as it was yesterday. But it is cold. We go from 71 to 40`s in just a day or two. Such a shock on the body. I sept in late day, because I was up til 3am this morning, working on my blog page. I finally just gave up and switched the template. I would like to post some pics and I`m going to work on that and see if I can do it. Because I would like to share some pics of my animals. Well I just went outside to fix the fire and I think it is warming up a bit. Still a little cool in the house. We have an outside woodburner, which is nice in some ways and not in others. You are suppose to only put wood in the mornings and at night. Somehow it doesn`t seem to work for me. I still have to put wood in during the day. Hey at least I can`t complain to much, our electric bill went down. It is only 131.00 this month. It has been running about 185.00 a month. I know some of my friends pay about 350.00 to 400.00 a month for the winter. The one thing I miss about having my woodburner inside is cooking on it. Well better go and get some work done. Take care Sheryl
About pictures, it seems like I should be the last one to give any advice because I don't fully understand it all yet. It took me a while before I could do anything with pictures and there may be an easier way than the way I do it.
It seems you have to have a photo program where you can re-size the pictures. I have photoshop and I can crop and resize them. I resize the picture to about 400 x 400 and name it. I then put it into a folder of pictures on the computer. I next go to my photobucket.com account which asks me if I want to upload a picture. I hit the browse button which lets me look up the pictures in my folder on the computer. I find the one I want, open it, and press the upload button. It is then on the photobucket website and I can copy and paste the address onto the add a picture button on the homestead blogger new entry form and then post the picture. (But this only works if I am at my PC. If you have a Macintosh you might be in trouble.)
I hope this might help a bit. I have found that it is fun to share pictures on a blog!

P.S. What are sugar gliders that you mention in your profile?
