I really like The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands by Dr. Laura Schlesinger. Don\'t be fooled by the title - it is about marriage. In fact, she has a new book The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage, but I have not yet read that one. She has a no-nonsense, Tell-it-like-it-is style, which I like, and although there are anacdotal stories in there, it isn\'t fluffy, feel-good.

anyway, my 2-cents...

bon journee!

I really enjoyed "Created to be His Helpmeet" by Debi Pearl. It is a Christian author. Blessings, Angie

Greetings,
I particularly like The Excellent Wife by Martha Peace, I use it to counsel and it has been very helpful. It has a study guide also. The Exemplary Husband is the companion to this. Also, A Woman's High Calling by Elizabeth George is very uplifting and wonderful!
Blessings,
Suzanne
