Ok, so things are changing........

Prices are going up on everything, work is sporadic at best, weather is odd, politics stink, people are doing strange things, the earth is moaning and groaning in unusual places, strange lights in the sky, food shortages and violence across the globe....need I go on?  It's everywhere.  It got me to thinking this morning.....this is why we do what we do.  Homesteaders, homesteaders-at-heart, or homeschoolers....we are a bit unconventional (Thank God for that).  We look at things a little different than the "norm".  We care about how we raise our children, what we put in our bodies, and how we spend our time here on earth.  We are passionate people with a yearning for learning.  We care about our neighbors and have compassion for those in need.  We appreciate the "simple things in life".   Yes, the world is getting harder to live in.  It is forcing us to make changes, learn new things, become more resourceful.  But isn't that who we are?  We do things differently than the main stream and are proud of that.  Are we not made for a time such as this?  It doesn't matter if we live in the city or in the country we have Grit: Character, pluck, perserverance: the courage and resolve to stick, despite circumstances that might daunt others. (to pun a phrase)  It is a time for us to shine, to enjoy what we have been given.  Its in God's Hands and I pray that he uses my hands to do His Will.  Blessings>faithfarm
