Fast and easy potato soup

Here is quick warm recipe that's sure to be a hit-

Cut 5-6 potatoes in 2inch cubes.  Bring them to boil in a soup pot with water, salt, pepper, and enough onion to taste. When they are soft and falling apart add 1 can of Cream of Chicken soup and a splash of cream.  Stir and boil until cream soup is completely blended.  Add instant potato flakes to thicken to desired consistancy.  Serve Hot with crackers---yummy and quick.  If you want to get creative add a bit of cheese or a spoon of sour cream to the top of your bowl.  Its all good.  Enjoy!

That is how Mom makes potato soup except, she doesn't add the can of soup. I will tell about your recipe. She might want to give it a try!

Anotther good thing in potato soup

Cut up one of those smoked beef sausages (the 1 lb kind) by slicing the thing in half, in half again, then across so you get 4 pieces out of each "slice" across. Brown those really well. Drain it, then stir into the potato soup along with s genourous helping of dill weed. Serve with grated cheddar or colby cheese to melt on top of the soup. Yum!
