Loving the peace!

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time on the homestead!  All the family home, the best of harvest prepared.  We had several days of food and fellowship.....It was wonderful.  There is something to be said about the day after....when the peace and quite returns to your home.  The first hours of the morning when all is asleep and life returns to its normal routine.  That quiet time of prayer and reflection.  The hot coffee and warm thoughts of loved ones.  What a way to start the holiday season.  Things have been really busy here on the farm getting ready for winter.  Thanksgiving was here before I knew it.  Its times like this where I slow down and really appreciate all God has done in our lives.  So many Christmas seasons have passed and been basically missed with all the busy business of the season.  This is the first year our house is finished and we are all but caught up outside...We are going to stop all "projects" and enjoy our blessings, spend quality time with family and friends.  Hopefully make some memories to last.  May you have peace this holiday season and enjoy the blessing God has given you.
