Looking Into It

We have a couple of questions for the owner of the property that we looked at on Thursday night.  One was with the well.  The paper said that the well pump doesn't work anymore because it was "struck by lightning".  However, TN in the middle of a HUGE drought and I think a lot of people's wells are drying up.  That would be a major expense here since the house is built practically on rock.  My dad said that it might also be that there is sand in the lines or that the well pump is just old.  We are hoping that it is the problem of merely replacing the pump rather than having to get a whole new well dug.  urg.

There are also some other minor questions that we have concerning the house, but that are almost irrelevant compared to the well situation.

The house is halfway done and has a bunch of junk in it.  The yard is a mess.  There is one room where there was a ceiling leak.  Other than that and some cosmetic stuff and the fact that everything is FILTHY....!......We like the house.  It has everything we needed and even has a pond, which is something that I always dreamed of.  I'm hoping that it works out and trying hard to not get overly excited about it.  I've gotten excited about house prospects in the past, but have been disappointed when they don't work out.  Here's to hoping that everything actually does.....for once.

Im glad that you can see past the junk and the filth to it's charm. Just picture yourself in the house and tell God how much you like it. Maybe he will see what you see and put you there. Good luck.
