Unityfest and WEEK 25 News
Yesterday's concert at the Unityfest in Pekin went really well.
We played at the right time, as the band and I were on WEEK 25
News. They didn't play any of our music though. Just a view
of Erik, Christian and I, as well as a quick view of the band as a
whole. But HEY, I'm not complaining.  I can put it on my references, as well as it was neat to see.I was worried that I would look nasty, as I am still carrying around extra baby "baggage." But I looked better than I thought I would. I looked just a bit overweight, which in my opinion is still too much! lol There was a girl at Unityfest who wasn't a Christian who said that she really liked my music. She said that she didn't usually like the style that I sang. She said it was because of my voice....I say it was because of the presence of God! :) God's so cool. I'm praying for her, as I could tell that she was struggling inwardly. I could tell from our conversation that she had been hurt by the church at some point. My heart breaks for her... |
