About Me 
I'm Ellen, wife of Frank and mother of two teenagers. We live in a suburb of one of the largest cities in the Netherlands, where we try to live a simple and sustainable life in a crazy world. One day I hope to live on a rural homestead, but for the moment I'm happy where I am and I want to share my journey with you. I have an allotment and fruit trees and bushes in our garden. My side job is studying Celtic and English languages at the Utrecht University. My little girl turned 14 today! I'm so proud of my beautiful young lady, who has a big heart. Sometimes she amazes me with her grown-up behaviour and other times I wonder how young she is. Here is a picture of us together from this summer.
