I LOVE my PALM!

I am still just learning to use my PALM handheld, but what I am learning to use... well, I just LOVE it.  I cannot thank DH enough for this gift... it is perfect for my list making urges.  It is perfect for my love of checking things off the list... And the notepad ...my 2yo loves it, she doodles on it, so it entertains her enough that if I was sitting at the dentist office, she can doodle.  That's a take-along toy that fits in my purse!  Woo Hoo!

Anyways, I have tried out a few functions, but have learned most about the tasks function and the contact function.  In the tasks function I can put my daily tasks and schedule them to repeat each day... On the main page when I turn it on, my tasks appear.  I can check them off as I go through my day.  And no remaking the same list... no more wasting paper for my to do list each day.  Each day my regular list appears.  I can add special things to it if I desire, but if my day is the same ole, same ole... well, it's just already there! 

So far on my tasks list, I have my daily devotions, my family worship, laundry 1, laundry 2, menu plan supper, menu plan breakfast for next day, school planning, school correcting, and a couple weekly items like planning for Sabbath activities and meals.  Anyways, it is working.  Dh thinks I'll tire of it, but man... it is so fun!  LOL.  My one daughter wants the old one... she likes to make lists as well and having a small palm in her purse to check things off appeals to her as well.  Dh thinks we are both strange.  He is not a list maker, he has this amazing mind that remembers everything... except for dentist appointments, LOL. 

My PALM is the z22.  One of the bottom of the lines... less than $100.  I see they are on ebay for less at times... Some are selling off lightly used ones for less... I suppose they found out they aren't a list maker type personality!   That can be good for those that are!   I never want to suggest buying something to people that can't afford one... that is detrimental to their budgets.   I just am sharing that I love my PALM.  A praise to my DH for a gift well-thought out!
