Down Mulberry Lane

Starting over...

Well, I thank Jocelyn so much for her help with my template!  As you may notice, I went back to a starter template so that I might take some time to learn how to make my own template.  I have Jocelyn's beautiful template saved for the time when I will likely again use it.  For now, I will be switching templates, trying to figure out how these starter templates differ and see what it is that I like about each one and then hopefully I can begin to start tinkering and making a template that I can modify with some sort of comfort.  *grin*

I am excited to do it on my own, yet I know that I can easily get carried away when learning a new skill.  I can often times become so absorbed that I forget all the other things that need doing as well.  So, I will be limiting myself to how much I do each day in working on the template.  You all may not notice much going on at all, because it likely won't change much at first.  I also will be allowing myself time to work on my template only after completing a goal at home.  Meaning, that applesauce is going to get made, as is the grape jelly and the pepper jelly.

I will also be sifting through old posts and deleting some to help clean things up.  All in time.  I figure this is a good winter project.

Warmly, ~Melissa

I too have been learning to do my template myself. I got a wonderful 3 column template from JoAnn, and along with a book, and some info from Doodle's Templates tutorials I have gotten my 2 blogs just how I want them. You can do it. It's time consuming, but well worth the feeling that creating something on your own gives you.

Homeschool Tracker Plus. Do you think that the Homeschool Tracker Plus is useful and worth the money? Plowing through high school requirements and thinking about portfolios and transcripts... Angela

I have no idea how to do a template and much respect for those that do! I'm just so thankful for the preset templates here!
Blessings for your week.
