More Pictures From S.C.

This is the sign in front of Columbia International University in, well, Columbia, South Carolina. C.I.U. hosted the tournament and even made this sign, just for us, all for free! Their representative said that they really like homeschool students, so they encouraged everyone there who was looking into colleges to consider going to C.I.U.

They made us feel very welcome! :)

SpeechLunch

This is how we did lunch the first day. In this picture I'm about to start on my sandwich and am giving my dad a thumbs up. Kelcee, behind me, makes sure she has everything she needs for lunch. Oh, by the way, those steps behind Kelcee were just one flight out of countless others on campus. I think C.I.U must seriously value exercise for their students. In all the buildings I went into there were always, without fail, stairs. And I always, without fail, got assigned to upper rooms. Ok, well, one time I didn't have to, but every other time. It seemed I was always making the trek from the Student Center (which was where everybody was when they didn't have anything to do) to a huge building called "Ridderhof." Now Ridderhof was just a hop, skip and a jump away from the Student Center, but that sure seems like a long way when you have to hop, skip and jump down a sloping sidewalk, down a flight of steps, down a corridor, into Ridderhof, (finally) and then, once you're in the building, you've got find your room! And Ridderhof was the closest building to the Student Center! Well, we got a lot of exercise and some good map reading skills. (Yes, we were given maps!)

SpeechGazebo4

This is Kelcee and me at a little gazebo about 1/2 of a mile from C.I.U. that our dad found. We ate lunch there on the second day.

Here we are "peacing out." The view was beautiful from this spot!

I'll get the rest of the pictures up later!

Hi! Welcome to my blog! Brief description... hmm.. well, I'm going to try to use this blog as a tool, to encourage others and inspire them to seek God for themselves, draw closer to Him and get on fire to tell the ones who need to hear! And also just some random thoughts. So, look around, and feel free to leave a question or comment! Mark 16:15 "And He said to them, "Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
