The Curriculum Roller Coaster

After much angst and searching and lots of prayer, we have decided to go with BJU Homesat next year..I  am excited to finally have a decision made. The expense scares me a little but Joe says the money is not the issue, it is what is best for  the kids and for me. You name the method or the curriculum, I been there, done that, and bought the lousy t-shirt

I know without a doubt in my mind that we are doing what the Lord would have us to do, in homeschooling our children with their backgrounds and special needs it is what is best

I don't always enjoy my kids 24-7, but I love homeschooling them, it is a blessing and not always a joy, but for the most part, we have great days.

I have felt like a fish out of water for a while now, but I am praying that BJU Homesat will be a blessing to my family.

Tuesday, March 20, 2007 - Robbinson's Curriculum

Posted by Wisdomfarms

We use Robbinson's Curriculum. It is great!! It cost only $199.00 and takes the kids all the way through high school.

You can check their site at http://www.robinsoncurriculum.com/

It has saved us a lot of money and we have really enjoyed using this as well as the kids like the control it offers them too.

In His Service,
Ray

Wednesday, March 21, 2007 - Choosing a curriculum sure is a challenge

Posted by Joanne

I hope it works well for you :) We switched from Alpha-Omega to Christian Light Education this year. Fortunately, switching at a very early grade level is not too bad, but I did notice things that our new curriculum covered in the previous year that we missed and I had to make up. We *really* like CLE because it is very predictable, easy to teach, and economical. Good luck :)
