Great website and Funny video

Hello Everyone,

Thought I would jot a line while the grandbaby is asleep and I have a few minutes to myself.

I was reading some of the blogs and can't believe how many people are out there moving right now. It is a bit scary with things the way they are, but things muct not be doing too bad for some of you. I am glad though to see more people getting into their own homes now. I have been looking at different places, but just can't see us moving at this time.

Today I finished going through the last of the 50 pounds of onions, and have got them sorted and ready to go. I will be working on getting those dehydrated this weekend and will post all of the pictures too. We were suppose to go camping for a three day getaway, but hubby's hernia is acting up and he goes to the doctors on the seventh to see about having it repaired again. I think the mesh that they used is not working! I didn't want to get out somewhere and have him bend over and really hurt himself more. There will always be other weekends, and maybe in a month we can go. I guess I will also get my three other beef roast canned along with some pork.

For those of you that are looking for sources for your fruits and vegetables, I found this site: http://www.pickyourown.org/statelist.htm#statelist Just go to your state and have a look. I am hoping I can go to the one close to use, cause I love to go and see what everyone else is growing. some places are even set up for a whole day event. I know that WSU is going to have their cherry picking coming up this month. Last month I think I paid $1.00 a pound and I picked at least five bags worth. I split some with friends and froze a bunch. This year, I want to dehydrate, can, and make jam out of them. I have never made jelly and would like to try my hand at that later. Maybe the ones that I freeze, I will do that with when it's not so hot.

A friend of mine sent me this link: Little Bunny  and before you open it, make sure your volumn is turned on. To me, it was very funny, but then, maybe I have a weird sense of humor. It reminds me of the saying " It's tough getting old".

And on that note, I need to run and get a few things done. Hubby came home early from work in pain and I need to go over some things with him, like the budget for this month! oh joy

Will talk to you later.

I don't know about you, but I sniffle and cry like a baby when chopping onions. LOL It is rather funny! So, I can only imagine how rough it was on you with all those onions!!! Glad you got the last 50 pounds done. I think I wouldn't want to see another onion in my life after all that. lol

God's Blessings,
Amy Jo
