Born to Dance

• 2006-Jan-27 - Knitting trobles...

Guess what! My friend Ashley taught me how to knit! Yay!! But for some reason, as many lines as i do, it seems to get wider....and there are more loops on the needle. I started out with 15 loops, and now there are 20...I'm not sure what happened. ?

 

If anyone could help me, that would be great! Because I'm not sure what went wrong.

Okay, first of all, you need to start over. Your problem is that when you are starting another row, you are taking your first stitch and increasing there. Why that is is because when you see your first stitch, it looks like two. Try to keep your last stitch in a row fairly tight, so that it doesn't LOOK like two stitches in the next row. Does that make sense? Email me if you still need help.
