The BIg Catalog Panic

These are my pearls. They are on loan to me, and I want to do the best I can for them. That's why the BIG CATALOG causes a panic, and that's also why it's sitting on my desk unopened. It came on Tuesday and it's still sitting there. I have planned next school year and I do not need anything else. If I open it, I will second guess all my planning and think I need to do something different for some subject. I know this about myself....that may be all I've learned in my 10 years of home teaching but I know that well. Some day soon I will feel strong enough to look through it just for fun. But not today.

Beautiful children, your are blessed for sure. I also love the rolling hills in the background. We're flat down here, lol.

Hey! I recognize those mugs:) (And the duck and chicken too):P
Maybe we'll make the sewing day the same day the girls spend the night? Let me know the day that's best...that sewing machine is aching to be used:P

Beautiful children!
And I know that BIG CATALOG feeling....I don't order any catalogs anymore. I'm too weak. The flesh is simply too weak...so is the mind...I just can't do it. My poor children suffered terribly our first 2 years of homeschooling when I jumped around. I'm debating right now over changing gears even...but I haven't yet. I'm trying to be strong!

I think the most important thing is to keep at homeschooling, but there are so many possibilities, I often think "Am I doing it right? So-n-so uses this and does that...am I lacking?" We are such silly creatures, aren't we! Keep on..you're doing right. Post if you want to talk curriculum :)

Hi I was radom blogging and came upon you. I agree with the others. You have a beautiful family. What I noticed is they look very healthy and happy. Must be the country living.
And yes I get the catalog panic too, with the internet. Gotta quit browsing!
