Be Ye Separate

Another reminder that I'm alive:P

Blessings!

   Every day, the Lord let's me know that I'm still alive and kicking:P And today was no exception!

   I had gotten to bed rather late last night so I slept till daylight this time. As usual the ducks were out front of the house letting us know they knew we were awake and they are patiently waiting for a little grain and to help wake up the rest of the farm.

   Miss Sarah, hasn't been feeling well so I let her sleep a little longer. Miss Mary-Ann, on the other hand, was up before me (as usual):P She usually rises around 4:30-5am and I am usually up between 5-5:30. In any case, she was up. She has a dentist appointment today at noon so we waiting for a little before waking Sarah to help with the morning tasking.

   A rattle on the door and she says she is getting up. Miss Mary-Ann heads out to the barn with the ducks and chickens following her. A few minutes later I hear banging on Miss Sarah's window. Thinking that she was annoyed that her sister was taking too long getting her shoes on, I ignored it. Suddenly Miss Sarah comes flying into the frontroom seemingly irritated. I thought I would try to diffuse whatever it was that wanted to explode this time, I asked her to take a deep breath and fix me a cup of coffee. THEN she could go out to join Mary-Ann.

   She takes a deep breath and says, "Do you want your coffee before or after we catch the Nigers?" What!?! I figured the coffee could wait:P

   She went out to help and I did a little puttering. I can't move too well these past few days so I am not able to do the steps too often. My strength will take me to the car, to the dentist (where I will stay in the car) and back home again. That will be about all this body will handle today:)

   Anyway, a little bit later she comes into the house and announces that she wants to EAT GOAT for supper! Of course, this brings a little giggle from me as she expounds upon the frustrating behaviors and irritating habits of said critters. I continue to giggle but it's quickly turning into a belly laugh:P

   At first she wasn't very receptive to the entertainment value of her adventures this morning but she soon loosened up and in between giggles insisted she was serious:P

   I just let her know that later today when she is out there playing with them and fussing with them she will forget all about how upset she was. And she will too! It's one of those times that the Lord lets us know that no matter how chaotic something might be in the moment, we are alive and kicking and with His help we can overcome:)

   So, I'm going to fix myself another cup of coffee and wait for the girls to come back in with the eggs:)
