Blessings!

   Well, I'm not sure how well this place has been protected since the owners bought it in Dec. of 06, but we're about to find out I fear:(

   Woke up to 18 degrees and frozen pipes! The toilet flushes but the sink and bath won't run, the kitchen sink won't run and I'm afraid to find out about the outside spigots:s This could get uglier over the next few days:(

   I am just praying that we don't have any busted pipes when this thaws:( If I had known it was going to get THIS cold...ugh:(

   Well, there is a very very small drizzle coming from the kitchen and bathroom faucets so we'll see where that goes. Hopefully it will help. At least it means that there isn't a complete blockage in those pipes:P We are on a well here so I do worry about it greatly.

   Okay, I best get out and check all the outside spigots and see what's up with those. Last year at the old place we lost every spigot in the back! It wasn't pretty at all. Thankfully that was all though and no burst pipes under the house or ground.

   We are blessed that our ground doesn't really freeze like it does back east. My brother speaks of the Spring Thaw and how he has to wait till the ground thaws enough to till it. He lives in Wisconsin:) I'm glad we don't havethat issue here. Cold is hard enough but frozen ground? ugh:s

   Well, I best help the girls out there. Be safe, be warm, be His!

God be with thee!

Sister Lori

OH we've been there, done that. Pipes busted once or twice. I always leave my water dripping, sometimes running, at night if it goes below 30*. Our house is raised so the wind blows under the house where the pipes are, so they freeze. We usually have to put wood around the bottom of the house during the winter, and we live in Louisiana. Dont know if we could stand to live up north, LOL. Take care, hope you'll defrost soon,.............Kitty

~~~Blessings!
We've had to do frozen pipes before, but we don't worry about it until winter is really in full swing. We've never really lived where ice was a big issue except for rare ice storms that might come through. I think we've experienced that twice in the 11 years we've lived here.
I didn't expect frozen this morning or we would have left those faucets dripping. I'm just praying we don't bust a pipe so we have the chance to try it again:P
God be with thee!
Hello
well iti s a cold one here today right now it is 11:30am and still only 0 below and it is not counting the wind chill-- I have not been warm in days. And yes we have done the frozen spigets and pipes but it has been years since we have had trouble (when we lived in a mobile home) but since we moved to this house 9 going on 10 years it has not been a problem.
Take care
I have been following your adventures - sometimes with a chuckle, sometimes a tear, but always a prayer. God Bless you for being a great inspiration to so many.
May the owner have it protected and all is well real soon. Believing that No more comes that will block your blessings. You [We] are blessed NO matter what!. Lovingly, rilda *U*
