Blessings!

Well our move is coming upon us quickly:) CaraDD and her girls were here this afternoon giving us a helping hand. The fellowship was wonderful and the help much appreciated:) Thank you! By the way, Miss Maddie is washing her clothing even as we speak for Fellowship tomorrow:P Silly thing:)

After we got most of the kitchen packed up and Miss Sarah's bedroom, we decided to go to the auction for a few hours. I'll post about those finds later:P We had a great time and then parted ways as she went home with her younger two and we were blessed with keeping Maddie for the night:) Next time (the 3rd) we get all the girls overnight:) Can't wait!

   But I digress...

We went to the new house on Friday because Matthew and his soon to be bride hadn't seen it yet. So I took some pictures to share:)

This is the front of the house. You can see the children all peeking in the windows:PHere's a side view...and more window peeking:PThe pen in the forground was originally for the previous tenants horses. The leaning barn in the background is much sturdier than it looks:P We'll be putting our garden in half of that front pen and the chickens and ducks in the other half. The entire thing is the size of a decent sized riding arena. It's hard to see that in the picture:)Notice on the right is the arena. This shows part of the area that runs around the other side of the house. The dark area on the left side of the picture is my hand:P It was raining pretty good and I wanted to keep the camera from getting too wet:)Our beautiful future daughter-in-love is on the right. She's not plain like we are as you can see, but we love her and our son has chosen well:) Brother Craig is in the black coat in the shed door. These two sheds are just behind the garage which is to the right of the back of the house (which I haven't taken a picture of yet...it also lists badly to the right:P) The shed in the very back will be our sewing shop:)These next two pictures are of the inside of the sewing shop. The right side and the left side. I love that it has windows all around it:) I'm not sure what they used it for but it has good flooring and though it doesn't have outlets, Brother Craig says he can fix that:P We will be signing the final papers on Monday and we can start moving in on Tuesday:) We are ready to make a big trip on Tuesday and get most of the furniture and the kitchen stuffs over there. Then we can do a few more trips over throughout the next two weeks until we finally have our estate sale and clean it all up:)

It will seem very strange not having our son at home anymore. We'll miss him terribly. Even he's having little moments of nerves over it. He's never lived away from us so this is an adventure for all of us:) He'll adjust but it's good to know that he needs family. It's what we always wanted to instill in our children. For them to know that they need family and can rely on family at all times, to know the Lord and make Him the center of their days and I think we've succeeded! Thank you Jesus!

Here's a sweet picture of the children. Matthew and Kristina. Isn't she a cutie?Kristina is just slightly over 5 feet tall and our Matthew is 6'4":D They are so sweet together. They'll be married on the 17th of January and moving into their own place that day as husband and wife. They are renting their place on the 10th and we will be going over there to get things moved in and ready for them to take residence on the afternoon of the 17th:)

We are so blessed that these two had taken a vow of chastity together. They will never be in that awful position of comparing each other to anyone else. They have that one sweet gift that God has given to them of becoming one. Never having shared their most precious gift of marriage with anyone. In this day and age it's a sweet breath of heaven poured over our family:)

Well, I best be getting a little sleep:) We have fellowship in the morning and I want to be ready (and awake:P)

Be blessed, be safe, be His:)

God be with thee!

Sister Lori
