A Full Few Days

Blessings!

This week has been a very full one for sure. We've been to the fairgrounds three times now and today is the last day. We won't be going today (thank you Jesus!) Although I'm hearing murmuring about possibly attending the races there tonight...I'm hoping it will be "just the guys":P

Sarah and Morgan were having much to much fun in the pig barn:P

Morgan rather enjoyed the piglets and tried to talk us into buying a couple. We would if pigs were allowed here but alas we are only renters:P

Theron was finally having a good time. He was a little shy and unwilling to enjoy the rides...till now:) I think it was because brother Morgan showed him how to push that button by the steering wheel that makes that horrible honking noise! (So glad fair happens once a year:P)

Theron rode this airplane ride three times!

This is the wildest ride I'll agree to go on:P Theron wasn't too sure about the horse until we'd gone around a couple times:)

Blue Nana and Pappy needed to take a little break and Theron needed to run off some energy. Our local BiMart sets up this playyard for the youngin's each year at the fair. A special treat was being right next to the Dock Dogs so we got to watch that while watching Theron too:)

Morgan needed a little rest too:)

Morgan golfed a hole in one and won a fresh stomped lemonade:) He was so proud:)

Theron was eating a cheezit when he finally gave it up and crashed out:) And yes, I removed the last bite:P

This is me with the same silly look on my face throughout the entire fair. It's that look of "Where have they got to now?" Me worry? Naaaaaaaaaaaw:P

Finally, after a hot day out at the fair, it was time to take a dip and cool off. Theron wasn't thrilled at first but he soon got used to it and now we can't keep him out if the others are in the pool:)

So far that's been our week. Today we are staying home and just relaxing and having some quiet family time. Tomorrow we will have to go pick up the fair entries and Mary-Ann bought an English Lop from one of the 4Hr's:) She has wanted one for a long time and frankly we haven't found anyone around here to breeds so this was a treat:) He's a beautiful and cuddly thing. I'll take pictures and share them once we get him home. She's so excited:)

Well, I best get downstairs and start on my sewing room. It's in desparate need of straightening since we haven't had a chance to clean up after the sewing frenzy just before fair:P I have lots of things cut out and ready to sew as soon as it's done so I need to get on it!

   Have a blessed weekend!

God be with thee!

Well it looks as if you all had a good time at the fair. Once my littles got to be biggies, I no longer needed to go to the fair. I miss the excitment of the 4-H all together.
The pool looks so inviting and refreshing. Have a great weekend.

~~We were so glad to be able to take this year off from the animal stuff. We were never much for going to fairs and now that the children are older they aren't interested in the rides and games. It was definitely a step back having the grandsons as we haven't really done this in many years.
The pool is so refreshing on these hot days and they had such fun:)
God be with thee!

We just finished up our fair. We didn't even have time to go out and ride the rides with all the animals that we showed. Plus, my kids are nearly grown and don't really care about going out into the carnival area. Which is fine with me. I hope you and yours have a blessed evening.

~~We are usually there with animals too but this year we decided to take the year off from market animals. Our Sarah had such fun helping others with their animals instead and the pressure was taken off of the family:)
Our children are all older now and really don't have any interest in the rides and games so it was a step back for us with the grandsons. It's been many years since we've done it and are surely glad it's over for this year:)
God be with thee!

I love peeking into your life! I enjoy the fair as well, but I think I'm with you... 3 days would be plenty for one year. *grin* We will be headed to the fair this coming week as well. We have sheep in the barn... on the avenue of the breeds. Dh wants to refresh literature, so we'll all get a trip to the fair. It does look to be plenty hot which ever day we pick to go.

Warmly,
Melissa

~~We truly are blessed to have been able to take this year off from the animals. The children are all older and not interested in games and rides so having the grandsons was sort of a step back:P
Perhaps, we'll have the boys a month earlier next year and avoid fair altogether:P
We did enjoy seeing them have fun though and for that we are thankful:)
God be with thee!
