Hello Neighbors!
I thought I'd get set up here and visit some friends from WordPress and Blogger. I've been reading the posts on the front page and it looks interesting. I love the recipes being shared, and several articles and comments shared. Some are a bit out there in left-field, but that's to be expected I've learned. A lot of blogs and groups go through that I guess. There are some of those folks in every walk of life.
We are a homesteading and homeschooling family, working to live off our land as totally as we can, given today's society. We are working towards a self-sustaining lifestyle on our homestead, complete with raising our own animals for food, raising crops for our own needs as well as for the animals we will raise, and live off our land, relying on God to keep us sustained daily.
We are basically a fundamental Baptist family, although titles are often misleading. There are simply too many titles in the world now. We are Christian, meaning we believe in God as the Father, Jesus Christ as His Son and the understanding that through the Blood of Christ we have been born again into a new life here, fully repented and forgiven of our sinful lives, striving daily to Walk after His Example. We believe the tomb was empty...don't even get me started on the whole 'we found the tomb of Jesus' garbage going around...and it was empty for a reason...Christ Rose.
I hope to glean some good homesteading information here, and maybe share some knowledge myself.

Thank you Debi and Miki, for the welcome. I have seen a lot of good things here and I do think I will like blogging here. I see some faces I recognize from other blogs, which is nice.
I can tell already I may make a lot of friends and influence alot of people as our beliefs are pretty strong in some areas, but that really doesn't matter in the long run. I'm here to share what I can and learn what I can, plain and simple.
