Jessie's house burned in the wildfire

We are all saddened today as last night Jessie's (the kids dad) house burned to the ground in the grassfires. This is the house the kids had memories of their family together in and they are dealing with the loss of memories. Today we sifted through rubble, but there is just nothing left. Jessie and Debbie lost everything and so did countless neighbors. All along hwy 76 all you can see from Ratliff to Fox to Healdton is house after house burned to the ground. Acres and acres of charred black. Big Miss and her dad were on channel 4 and 12 news last night. They can't find their cat, Shidy, which was outside when the firestorm literally blew into the area.

My adorable, sweet and beautiful grand-son was trying to have an afternoon snack on the cookies I made for Grand-Doll.

First he tried the chocolate chip.

But I believe his favorite was the frosted sugar cookies...

Homeschool Prom 2008

Homeschool Co-op Valentine party

We had a lot of fun at our local homeschool co-op Valentines party. The kids decorated bags and then exchanged cards. We also had lots of goodies to eat and had lots of SOCIALIZING going on.lol.
