Meet our new addition. A big white fluffy ...Marshmallow? Nah, it is Marsha. Marsha is a 3 month old great pyre. What a doll and she is so soft. So far she has taken to the chickens and one day she will fill the doorway to the henhouse…
Doesn’t she have the sweetest face. This is her tree, she loves laying under it during the day.
The bobcat has not made another appearance, and we are glad, but very leery still. We know he will come back for more and so the hens are just getting out with supervised running around in the evening for a few hours. They are still laying and I got 3 nice eggs today. It sure is nice to have fresh eggs again! Our sewing class is going along just fine and the girls have made a lot of headway on their aprons. The girls are very sweet and I am very proud of them. Aren't they they cutest girls?!
On Monday my little Justin would be 25. That sure seems hard to believe. The girls and I went out to the cemetery to do some maintenance and take some flowers.
I think we have all recovered from the flu and the weather has been so nice that we have taken up our eening walks again and Little Miss rides her bike. Here she is working on her “tricks”.
I will post up a new recipe and the weeks menu in a few days. I hope you have a great weeK!
