Red today... for the blood of ChristI hope everyone has a great day -reflecting in the love of Christ and what he did for us on that day many years ago. Big Miss, Little Miss and I plan to. Last night as Big Miss and I was finishing touches on a set of clothes for our sweet Grand-doll's Easter basket, we were saying how late it was (or early) as the case was, and just what were we going to wear to church for Easter service. We had not bought anything new to wear. We finally took a break and tried on several outfits all with a negative shake of the head. After A while we had worn ourselves down with "It's too cold for that " or "that just isn't right for Easter morning" type of thing, and we had come to the point of, "Well, maybe we will just skip the service" ..... Big Miss and I both were quiet for a bit and the realization of what we said sank in. How could we even rationalize THAT out?! We had our head and heart set on the wrong thing. Jesus DIED for us, and we can't honor him on his reserrected morning because we feel we don't have the right thing to wear to church!!! Wow, we felt really bad. This morning with a gladened heart, we don't know what we are wearing but we are going to church to honor our Father and we have a feeling he's not gonna care what we have on. Easter blessings everyone! { Last Page } { Page 301 of 368 } { Next Page } |
