The ol' homestead

~I'm leaving on a jet plane..... don't know when I'll be back again....~

Not really.... were leaving in our car and we will be back next week! Time has finally arrived for our vacation and so we are off for camping and family visiting (yay Sunshine, I can't wait!) Frontier Man is off work and his 10 days started yesterday and he is kick'n back today.

I took a few pictures of us all outside last night. Cowgirl Cutie and I shucked about 80 ears and then made a big batch for supper.

The real hard workers were swimming.....

Maybe I can eavesdrop on what they are sayin' ...

and quick as a flash it's gone....

But don't you worry... I have secret agents in place.

Lovely pictures. The older kids have such great smiles, and the two youngest are absolutely adorable.

Wow, that it alot of corn!!! Are you planning on canning or freezing it??
