Great message! I tend to focus on my "expertise" and forget that I really don't know it all!
I have paraphrased a Bible verse to remind me not to think that I'm "all that"!
"For in my own eyes I flatter myself too much to detect or hate my sin." (Psalm 36:2)
This quote also reminds me of some sage marriage advice I received several years ago from a mentor: Focus on the excellence that is in your husband that is not in yourself. That helps me remember that my husband has gifts/talents/wisdom that I don't and that's what makes us a great team!

Hello! It is great to visit your blog. I love the photo of the front porch is that yours? I use to have a stove like that in our cabin back in CA. I loved cooking on it. We lived off the grid so it was put to use daily! Have a wonderful week! Mrs. Joseph Wood... by the way... my first name is Jeanette too! :-)
