Snow is finally here

This morning we woke up to a little bit of snow. It wasn't as much as I would have liked but it was enough to close down the schools. So my three are still in bed. Last night Abigail my youngest asked for pancakes, sausage and eggs if we didn't have school today. I was looking forward to us all being home. Last night I stopped at the grocery store on my way home because I was anticipating no school and I needed milk too. After I got home I went and gathered the eggs and then brought the waterer into the basement so I wouldn't have to break the ice this morning . Now I have to go and take their water back out to them. It's cold but I wanted winter to get here. I love the fresh feeling you have when your out in the snow as long as you have your long johns, muck boots and a nice warm hat to keep you warm. Oh and mittens too! Thats me all bundled up. Well I bettter get ready for the day and get breakfast started.

I love those no school snow days - I tell my kids they are gifts from God! :-) And don\'t you just love to walk out in the snow and listen to the quiet? Everything is so still and peaceful - just love it! Enjoy your day and yummy breakfast - wish I was there with ya!
