Crazy life of a hunters wife

Good Morning to all.  It is the middle of the week and I really have to get hopping today.  I am lucky to have the company of my olders granddaughter Amber for this week.  What a joy.  She is 8 and starts back to school on Sept. 3rd.  but this her last week of summer Nana and Papa get to spend some time with her.....She lives on the other side of the state, and we do get to see her about 6 times a year, but we always enjoy a week of her summer.  She is the oldest grandchild of our 8, and durning the first 5 years of her life,  I helped by watching her.  Today we are going to go shopping, I have to get some things for this coming month of hunting.  My hubby is an archer and for him the season, starts on the 1st of Sept.  He took a two week vacation just for hunting this year.  He is very excited, never before have we been able to afford such time off.  I am praying he can get a huge buck, and either an elk or bear would be nice.  I go with him, to help....LOL! (really I am the cleaning help). I love it though, I bring a craft or two and a good book, while he is out I enjoy some quite time.  I get to spend some time in the Good Book and reflect on life and how lucky I am to be a daughter of God.     Every once in a while it is nice to remind myself just how lucky I am.....  I have a wonderfuly Hubby, 4 great kids, and their others, plus 8 beautiful grandchildren.......and OMG they are trying for more!!!!!  Blessings and Blessings are surrounding us....  "God said go forth and multiply." So we are, from two we are now 17.   And Our little house is slowing getting fixed up and little by little my yard is becoming lush and green.... The garden by next year will be where I want it to be.....and I will be adding lots of herbs along the way!    I couldn't ask for more.  

Today we are very lucky, the job my hubby is on is winding down and they are giving him some left over drywall, which we need to finish up our laundry room.  I can't wait.....  drywall, paint and tile.  It will be great.  And not to mention my dh's back is doing so much better, He can accually touch the floor now when he bends. 

Last but not least are my beautiful Puppy's,  I have found homes for all but two, and today a new ad comes out.  They have been so much fun.  And yes they are work but oh so worth it.  They are smart and playful and give me lots of reasons to smile.  I will miss them.    So 10 Days and counting until we are on our hunting adventure!  Talk to you soon and thanks for listening!
