Update on my mom

My mom came home from the hospital.  She has a broken arm and a broken wrist.  Other than that, she is sore from her fall.  My youngest daughter, Megan, was staying with them when it happened.  And Friday, my oldest daughter, Lauren, drove down to stay the weekend.  So both girls are there now.  Lauren will be coming home today, because she has to work tomorrow.  My mom told me that it wouldn't be necessary for me to come down this week, just to wait until I had originally planned to come get Megan.  She said that Megan had been such a great help to her and acting as her nurse and assistant.  So Megan is having a grand time. 

It is a rainy Sunday morning and I am staying in.  I had a rough work day yesterday...I won't go there with this post...let's just say, sometimes I wonder if it is worth the trouble for the little compensation I recieve.  We have a new supervisor and let's just say, he isn't as kind and understanding as our prior supervisor.  He is all business and has little mercy.  All the RCA's got a royal rear chewing yesterday and that started off the day that only seemed to get worse as it went along.  I am seriously questioning whether the USPS is the place for me. 

I have bacon cooking and going to make bacon and cheese sandwiches for breakfast.  Since it is just the three of us, things are really quiet.

Glad to hear your mom is doing better....isn't it great when our children can pitch in to help the elderly...
