Easter Sunday

It has been a busy few days so I haven't finished the rest of the story of The Day Our World Changed Forever, but I promise to finish it this week.  Due to the emotional nature of the content, I'm just not up to it today. 

We had a good Easter.  My parents stayed over until yesterday.  We went to church yesterday morning then home to eat Popeyes take out.  That was my fault.  I was so tired Saturday that I didn't even think of planning a meal for Sunday.  It has been a busy week and Saturday when I came home from work, Andrew and I went out on a date, since my parents were here to keep the kids.  And then we went to Walmart to get a few Easter treats for the kids.  When I got home, I just didn't have it in my to make preprations for the meal, so I figured we would just get take out.  My parents were planning to leave after church Sunday AM anyway.  My Megan went home with them!! I am so lonesome for her.  Andrew ran to the store yesterday and Lauren was gone with friends when they left, so it was just Noah and I.  When I came back inside, I just felt so depressed and lonely!!! I just moped around the rest of the evening.  I was so depressed I couldn't bring myself to get dressed to go to church last night. (I know, shame on me!!)  I just wanted to put on my pj's and crawl into bed and cover my head.  Noah went to sleep about 8:30, so Andrew and I went to bed early. 

All in all it was a good day, except of course, the part about Megan leaving and my subsequent decent into the pit of depression and loneliness.  But I know she will have a great time.  She will be staying about three weeks or so.  She will have a chance to see and spend time with her cousins and extended family members.  In fact, they are planning a big sleep over tonight.  So the fun begins!!
