The Flu has hit us

Megan woke up this morning complaining of the same symptoms that Noah had.  I got them in to see the doctor at 8:00 this morning and it is definately the flu.  I am also showing symptoms and feel aweful!  So the dr wrote prescriptions for all of us.  I only took Noah's, Megan, and mine to be filled, and with insurance it cost $141.00!! It is tamiflu.  We have all had our first dose and Noah is laying on the couch, Megan in the bed and I am in the recliner.  It is bad when mom is sick too!  Hopefully Andrew and Lauren will avoid getting the flu.  If not, at least I already have a prescription for them. 

Well I don't feel like typing more, so I will end here.  Hopefully I will feel better soon.  I was suppose to go to work tomorrow, but I called my supervisor and she said that if I couldn't come in she would split the route and have the others cover it.  I hate to do that to them, but if I don't get better, there is now way I will feel like delivering mail tomorrow.  Besides if I have the flu also, I don't want to expose everyone else to it.

PLEASE read up about the possible side effects of this drug. It can be dangerous for young children and also TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE. The drug companies only have profit in their hearts not the welfare of the sick. The best treatment for the flu is bed rest and lots of fluids.Let nature take its course.Over prescribing of drugs is an evil part of todays society and an easy trap to fall into.Trust in the Lord not the drug companies who walk hand in hand with SATAN.

I am so sorry to hear you all are sick with the flu. Your medicine cost is so high and with insurance.

Sorry to hear you are all feeling so terrible. Our homeschool group was cancelled (over 80 children) because so many families would be unable to come due to illness. You may want to check out the post about cinnamon and honey on Heritage Hill Homestead. You may find some pleasant relief!
