Hump Day

Today has been one of those days where I have stayed in my p.j.'s all day!  I just haven't had the incentive to get dressed. 

Things I accomplished today: (just to let me know, I wasn't a total slob today)

• did several loads of laundry
• cooked a pot of Lentil soup and put some in the freezer for another day.  We will have the rest tonight for supper
• did a load of dishes
• cleaned up in the bathroom
• made my bed
• Megan completed tests in Science and English
• cleaned the computer keyboard with 3M dust remover spray (okay I am reaching for something else productive to add to the list---I was sitting here anyway!!)
• read
• ate healthy
• hugged and kissed my kids
• spent time with my kids

So today hasn't been a total loss.  I suppose I should get up and shower and make a pan of cornbread to go with the lentil soup for supper.  Tonight is church, and I always run out of time on Wednesday's. 

Yesterday evening, we were at Megan's riding lessons and they had just gotten into the arena when we got news that there were 30 tornado cells in the central Arkansas area.  So they put up the horses and we headed home.  Just as we got into the house, the weather hit.  But mostly we just got rain, wind, thunder and lightening for about 30 minutes or so and it passed on over.  Thank God!  I know there were so many that weren't so fortunate.  May God be with them!

Lauren is going today to interview with another family and she has another interview tomorrow.  The family she was nannying for, the mom decided to quit her job.  I am praying she gets another family that is as great as the last one.  She really loved them and they seemed to really care about her.  I am hoping that she will definately decide to take some college classes this fall.  She isn't sure exactly what she wants to get a degree in, but if she will just start and get her basics out of the way, then I am sure she will find direction. 

Well, gotta hit the shower!
