Wintery mix

Today we have had a wintery mix of ice, sleet and rain.  A great day to stay inside and clean house or tend to neglected chores.  Lauren came home early from work due to road conditions and she is cleaning her room.  Trust me, it is about time.  She is getting rid of piles of things that she no longer uses, and organizing the things she is going to keep.  I would have been ashamed for any of you to have seen it before...it was bad! 

Megan is finishing her school for the day and then she will be getting in her room to clean and organize it. 

Noah, well Noah is adding to my list..  He just brought all of the plastic trays in his toy organizer into the living room, empty!  So guess where all the toys are...in piles on his floor!!

I have been catching up on laundry.  I have been gone the last couple of days, doing grocery shopping and bill paying.  So I haven't been home to do the day to day upkeep.  Tomorrow I have to go to work, and over the weekend, my house usually ends up looking like a tornado came through.  So I wanted to get it in shape today, so maybe by Monday it won't be as bad as it usually is. 

As I type, Scout is laying at my feet .  He is enjoying his rare inside visits.  The ice outside prompted his inside visit today.  He is a great dog.  When we had the farm, he was our goat dog.  I know he misses his goat friends, and I am sure that he misses all of his running room!  He is now the master of the small back yard.

Your dog is so cute! I breed goldens for service dogs and family pets. I bet he is happy to be at your feet out of the weather. Stay warm. God Bless. mj
