Grocery savings

Okay, to all you seasoned savers, don't laugh at my excitement over my LITTLE victories at the grocery store yesterday.  I am a greenhorn and don't have a lot of experience doing this sort of thing, but I am learning, so bare with me.

WALMART
(just a side note*I have grown to despise going to walmart)

• I got a jar of Peter Pan peanut butter for FREE with a coupon
• I saved $6.50 with coupons

Kroger

• Stocked up on Tyson Boneless, skinless, chicken breast tenderloins for $4.97 per 2.5 lb. bag
• Wrghts Bacon 24 oz pkg for $4.97 (best store bought bacon around) ( Usually $6.00+)
• Tide  100 fl. oz bottle for $10.00!  (I usually pay $6-7 for half that.)( I am going back to get more before the sale is out on the 15th)

Target

• Printed a coupon from website to get $3.00 off 2 huggies products.  I buy huggies wipes and usually pay  around $6.00 for a large bag.  So I got two for $11.58 - $3.00=$8.50!!!

I know, some of you are laughing at my excitement over such a small amount, when some of you save $$-$$$ but, like I said, I am just getting started on this journey and I feel good about my  savings yesterday. 

If anyone has anything they can suggest to save more in the future, let me know!!  I am trying to learn all I can about this savings game!
