Rainy Monday

Well, I survived the weekend and my first official day on my job.  It took me longer to deliver all the mail than it did when I was with the regular driver, but I did get it delivered.  Thank God.  I ended up having to drive the out going mail to the processing plant, because I missed the outgoing truck, because I didn't make it back to the post office by 5:30, but I didn't mind, it is on my way home.  I was so glad to get the first day behind me.  I was extrememly tired! I worked 12 hours that day, plus the drive there and back takes about 35-40 minutes.  I was so tired that I couldn't sleep very well Saturday night.  But yesterday and last night, I slept several nights sleep in one.  I feel very rested today. 

It is raining outside and 52 degrees.  The girls have dental appointments this afternoon.  So we will have to get started on school and get that done early so we can get to the dentist.  I think everyone but Andrew has about recovered from colds.  Thank God.  But Andrew's is pretty bad right now, he stayed home from work today because he is coughing up so much junk.  Oh well, I won't go into more detail there.

Well, gotta run, get the girls started and I have piles of laundry to get folded and put away.

We're getting sleet here this morning but it's supposed to warm up to the high 30's low 40's. We're all battling colds here as well. I pray your family completely recovers soon and that your children finish their schoolwork in a timely fashion!
