What a Wonderful day

Today was a wonderful day.  Andrew, Noah and I took a day trip over into western Arkansas.  We visited Post Familie Vineyards and a winery.  Very beautiful country!  We enjoyed it so much.  Of course we just tasted the non-alcoholic muscadine juice, which was delicious.  We bought a couple of bottles along with some mulling spices and candles.  Very nice.  Then we drove over a little bit and toured a monastery.  It is Subiaco Abbey and Academy in Subiaco, Arkansas.  It was founded in 1878 by Benedictine Monks.  I did hope to hear the Gregorian chants, but we didn't make it in time to hear them.  The buildings and courtyard was beautiful.  It was very peaceful and serene.  We enjoyed the drive home, just seeing the scenery and talking.  Noah is tired tonight. He was in his car seat or stroller for the whole trip and he is cranky now.  I have tried to let him work off his energy, but I think he is just ready for bed.  So I will end with this:  MY GIRLS ARE COMING HOME TOMORROW!!!!!!YEA!!!!!

Wow... I live in Arkansas and have never even heard of this place... sounds like a nice place to visit. I am so glad that your girls are coming home... there's nothing like coming home!
