lonely feelings

Well my girls left with my parents this morning about 11:30 or so.  I hated to see them drive off.  I stood on the porch a little bit after they left and cried.  I feel like there is an empty hole in my heart with them gone.  Andrew went to church this morning and I stayed to see them off.  So when they left, it was just Noah and I here, and it felt so lonely.  Just thinking about the next two weeks made my heart ache.  So I had to put it out of my mind.  First I put Noah down for a nap and then I put dishes away and filled the dishwasher.  Then I ironed some of Andrew's work shirts.  By that time Andrew made it in from church and the loneliness wasn't quite so bad. But as the evening wears on, I am missing them more.  Thank God for cell phones.  I have been able to call and talk to them several times throughout the day and I feel much better after I do. 

I started crocheting Noah a winter hat.  I made one a few weeks ago, but today I am making a black and gray one to go with other things.  The first one was very colorful, out of yarn I had left over from a scarf I made for Megan a couple years ago.  I finished a scarf for my MIL and a couple more to give as gifts to others.  I am going to make a pink one for my mom that she can wear as a breast cancer survivor symbol.  I also have some sewing that I need to do.  I have a skirt for myself cut out, I just need to get it sewed up.  I just haven't had the time to do it the last couple of weeks. 

Well, I still haven't taken the gourds anywhere to sell.  I may try to do that this week, if I can find a place to sell them. 

Well, not much happening right now, so I will go so I can work on the hat I started.
