Empty vessel

I was praying the other day and the thought came to me that I felt as though I was an empty vessel and I had nothing to pour out to anyone else, due to my emptiness.  I begin to pray that God would mold me into a vessel of honor for His kingdom and would fill my vessel so that I could pour out onto others.  We need to be able to allow God to mold us into an image that He desires us to be.

My pastor preached a message about a "stopped up well", how that things get into our lives and stop up our wells and nothing can flow into or out of us.  That is how it has been for a while with me.  I couldn't fingure out why I felt so weary in my spirit, but after praying the other day, I realized why.  We must flow with living water, and if our wells are stopped up, we can't flow and nothing from God can flow into us.  I started praying for God to help me unstop my well.  I need to redig my well, through prayer and fasting and reading of the word of God, I will redig the well, clean out all the clutter that I have allowed to block the flow of the "living water " in my life.
