A busy week...

Well, the week started off with a bang!  Lauren woke up with a bad sore throat and I ended up having to drive to LR to take her to the Dr.  That took up most of the day by the time I went to Sam's for milk and ended up picking up a few other things.  I am trying to make use of the trips into LR.  She had a bad infection and thankfully the dr gave her some samples for medication instead of having to get a scrip filled.  That did save some.  Thanks Dr. Miers!

Yesterday my husband and I had to got to LR to take care of some buisness, so that took up a big part of the day.  I had to return a book to Abeka that I ordered and ordered wrong.  So I had to go to UPS.  Because Lauren had been sick, I couldn't leave the kids at home, so they had to ride with me and sit in the car while I took care of business.  So when we were done, they were all hungry so we went through the drive-thru at KFC.  Andrew played in a golf tournament yesterday and his team won 3rd place.  He won a trophy and $25 and a "Bubba Keg" which is a cooler to put water or whatever into and it has a spout to fill your cup.  It will come in handy when we go on outings, such as diamond hunting or something like that.  Instead of taking lots of bottled water.  Anyway, he plays in another one on Thursday.  Then he will be off Friday and all weekend.  So we may actually have time to do something fun for a change.  Although there are plenty of things around the house that need to be done before winter.

The girls are doing school work.  Lauren is feeling better today and starting back on school.  She is enrolled in American School and will be graduating this year. She is enrolled in two classes at our church bible college, Truth College at the Rock.  Megan is doing Saxon Math, Abeka Language, History, Science will be a combination of unti studies and reading of various subjects in Science and History.  Spelling and writing, and Reading are included in the other subjects. 

Noah is exploring and learning new things everyday.  Can hardly keep up with him these days. 

I have been terribly lazy lately, and a little depressed I suppose.  I need something to pull me out of my low place.  I need a trip to a new place and new scenery to get me motivated and inspired.  Well gotta get up and do something.

I pray that you feel cheerier and not so depressed! When I get to feeling bummed and need a change of scenery I like to read people's blogs and look at some of the pics they have posted!
