Is it fall yet?

I can't wait until fall arrives.  This heat, well it is cooler; 84 degrees, however, the humidity is still high so I am running the air still.  My bill last month was $398.00!!! 

Yesterday I went grocery shopping.  I decided to try the local meat market for my meat.  They have meat packages you can buy.  I paid $69.99 for about 35 pounds of meat. I got pork, beef and chicken.  We will see how long that last and that will determine if it was a good deal or not.  I went to WM for the fixin's.  Also bought gifts for Noah's first birthday.  It is tomorrow, but we are having the party Saturday.  We plan to get up Sat and take him for his first real haircut and then have his party in the afternoon.  I can't believe he is already 1!  

Well, Megan finished school quickly today.  I ordered her math and language, and should be getting them in in a couple of weeks.  But she has a comprehensive curriculum book that has all but history and science in it that she is working on until the others arrive.  Lauren is working on her senior year of high school and she is also taking two classes at bible college.  She is excited about those. 

Well there isn't anything exciting going on here today.  I am working trying to organize my pantry.  It is a mess.  And I am doing laundry today.  But other than that, nothing much happening.

well here in Australia it is our spring. I live in north Queensland so we hardly have winter, just a few odd days when it gets cold. I love this time of the year but in the next few months it will get very hot & humid. Thank goodness for airconditioner - LOL! How do you find home schooling? I am just about to start and I love reading about other families who home school.
