Saturday

Well it is Saturday and it is already 6:00 in the evening.  I feel like the day got away.  Noah is napping, Andrew and Megan are putting shelves up for me in the guest room/office/craft/school room.  And Lauren is gone.  So I am sitting here on the computer doing nothing much.  I need to get something fixed for supper, because everyone will be hungry, but I am being a bit lazy today. 

This morning I got up and cooked home made biscuits and bacon and gravy.  Then a friend of mine called and wanted to meet me for lunch.  I haven't been away from the house alone in a very long time.  Andrew was off today so I said yes.  Tuesday is my friends birthday, so I wanted to buy her lunch for her birthday.  I have two really good friends that have a birthday on Tuesday.  The other one lives in Louisiana so I won't be able to see her and take her out to eat for her bday.  Anyway, we meet and went to Home Depot to look for a light fixture to put in her kitchen, her old one wasn't working right anymore.  The we went to Colton's to eat lunch.  We had a great visit.  When I got home, I had to order somethings online, one being a math book for Megan's school.  I found a Saxon math homeschool pack.  The book was used but the test, workbook and test key were new.  I found it at Second Harvest Curriculum .  It was the 3rd edition and the current one is 4th I believe, but I checked with a private school here and they are using the 2nd edition, so I figured the 3rd would be fine.  I found the latest edition for $88 and I got this one for $33 with S&H.  So I thought I got a good deal, we will see when it gets here if it was a good deal or not.  Hopefully it is.  Now I am looking for Abeka Language program.  I think I am just going to order it from Abeka.  The have it for $35, which isn't bad.  But if I could find it cheaper, well that would be good. 

We started school on Friday, using what I currently have, and it went well.  Megan was excited about starting back, because all of her friends have already started back to school, so she worked really well and quick.  I hope she can keep that exceitment all through the year. 

Wednesday is Noah's 1st birthday!  I can't believe!  We are going to give him a little party and next Saturday we will take him for his first official haircut.  I will be taking photo's to put on my flickr badge.  I keep forgetting to get my camera out of the car to add the diamond mine photo's to here.  Everytime I think about it someone is gone somewhere in the car.  Right now Lauren is gone to a church youth outing in it.  So maybe tomorrow I will remember to get it out to add the photo's.

Well, let me get off of here and get something cooked for my family to eat.  I will add more photo's soon.
