My Ramblings

Catching up

It's been a little while since I blogged last.  Not much has occurred.  Dh and I went to the lake with the college group from church Saturday.  It was fun.  They all tubed and knee-boarded on boats.  I watched.  I would have enjoyed it, but not in my present state!   Dh loved it.  He has been wanting to do that all summer, but hasn't been able to.  I think we're going to try to make it out again one evening this week.  We'll see. 

Dh and Dad and I went to a food show this weekend.  It was pretty good.  We enjoyed the samples, but it seems like there were a lot less vendors of food this year. 

I am in search for the perfect "dining room" rug and curtains for our kitchen.  I found them a while ago, but I waited too long, and they sold out (they were on clearance, so they will not be making more). 

My little neice-in-law turns 3 this weekend.  We shall go to her party (Lord willing).  Today I have a doctor's appointment.  I will post later to let you know how it goes.  I should get the results from my bloodwork from last time.  I wish someone could go with me, but dh has to work, and I believe I waited too late for my dm-i-l to go.  Poo. 

This little boy is moving more and more!  He barely let me go to sleep last night from all the summer-saults!
