"Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a secon time.  After that, have nothing to do with him.  You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned."  Titue 3:10,11

This verse just struck me a little bit.  First, I looked up the word devisive and it meant someone "who promoted dissension by propagating extreme views of legitimate Christian truths."  That's really not the point of my pondering, but I thought it was worth mentioning.  So often we take verses like this or 1 Corinthians 5:11 and we think this is a cruel way to punish them.  But I don't believe it has any thing to do with punishing them, or trying to get them to change their ways.  They are "self-condemned."  It is for our protection not to associate with them.    I just thought it was interesting.
