Prayer Time with Hubby

Being 39 weeks pregnant....having a 18 month old to chase around all day has been a bit tiring. 

A few months prior, my husband and I use to get up every day before he went to work and read our Bibles (to ourselves) and then pray together.  It was such a sweet time and I loved starting our day out with the Lord together.  There is nothing like getting up early and talking to our God especially with the man you love! 

For about the past 2 months I just haven't been able to get up for these times.  I would try with all my might but one thing or another (Sleeping through alarms, too many bathroom breaks during the night, false labor, Ellie waking up very early for her - which now I'm realizing is quite normal for her)...it just wasn't doable. 

Mark has been great about it and we spent other prayer time together, but I was really missing and longing for those morning times again. 

Well I'm so excited that today....I woke up!  I won't say I'm the most energized but it's almost like the Lord gave me a special gift today.  I know Eli will be here any day (or week) and it's going to be some time before we get our morning time again....just so overwhelmed that I have the husband that I do and serve the mighty God I serve.

So for today's agenda....

• I need to bake more bread (since I started baking bread....it takes only a couple of days and our freezer is running low - Mark LOVES it)
• Go to the library
• Plan my grocery shopping for tomorrow
• Do the laundry

That's it....ha!  We'll see, I'm not so productive lately....it's rainy this morning so no pool time for Ellie, she does love to make bread and help me with laundry though so I think she'll have fun regardless.

We used to have something similar....dh has a CRAZY schedule (never the same every week, and nights 7p-7a)..but if it is important we will MAKE a way...thanks for the reminder of how special those times really are!!
